Proprietary Emulsifying Cell

The Emulsifying Cell, unique to BEE homogenizers, is designed to replicate passing through the cell multiple times. This works when absorption is induced by the Cell’s reactors to reduce particles over again as they exit, thus having the effect of multiple passes with the cost and time efficiency of only one or two passes. Firstly, turbulent flow can vigorously premix a product before passing through the nozzle. Next, cavitation occurs from a large pressure drop as the sample exits the nozzle. Thirdly, within the proprietary Emulsifying Cell (indicated above), the product creates a strong physical force upon impact at the Cell’s end fixture. And finally, the shear forces present through the entirety of the Emulsifying Cell allow for completion of a process that would otherwise require more time and resources.
