Poster Award winner, Preya Kirubakaran, PhD at the 14th APS PharmSci international conference held at Reading University.  This poster describes the use of surface dissolution imaging to investigate the influence of common ion effect on Papaverine hydrochloride, and how it is of great importance to the pharmaceutical industry as it can assist in drug optimizing strategies.

This was a collaboration between Pion, GSK and the University of Huddersfield. The poster describes an SDi2 study on common ion effect, and how it can impact dissolution rates. The work was started at the Pion lab in the UK. The rest of the work was done using the SDi2 system at GSK, UK.
